"Discoveries" and Chaddisbrook House
St. Peter's Church lies in the Yateley Conservation Area which extends around the green and makes up the "heart" of the town of Yateley.
Just outside the Lych gate are two connected, white buildings. The furthest away is Chaddisbrook House, and the closer of the two is "Discoveries", St. Peter's (and Yateley's only) Charity Shop.

In 1990, the freehold of the site became available from the then owner of the house and buildings, and was offered to the Church on a "first refusal" basis. The buildings and land were purchased with the help of a loan from the Winchester Diocese, and it took St. Peter's congregations some 15 years to raise the money to pay back the loan! "Discoveries" was originally a "hardware" shop, but now serves many purposes!
Chaddisbrook House provides extra meeting rooms, and also houses the Parish Office, which can be reached by following the signs.
