Sunday at 11:00am

A calm, caring and peaceful atmosphere has become the hallmark of the 11:15am Service. Nevertheless, the relatively high average age of the congregation does not imply a reluctance to embrace change or innovation. The members are young at heart and relish opportunities for unusual - sometimes even fun - elements in their worship.

We all rose to the challenge presented by the introduction of Common Worship, and relish innovative opportunities to explore aspects of the Liturgy. We also offer a warm and ready welcome to visitors, whether potential congregation members, preachers or leaders of services on particular themes.

Throughout the year we highlight events in the Church Calendar with special services or elements within worship. Special services of Readings and Music regularly take place on Palm Sunday, and on the Sunday a couple of weeks before Christmas; in the past we have marked St Peter's Day in a similar way. From time to time we enjoy a Songs of Praise Service. We have a robed Choir which, though small, works hard to make a joyful noise!

Social events include our twice-yearly Agape Lunch, which is very popular, and a summer picnic. Other successful one-off events have been organised, such as a Beetle Drive and a Skittles Evening.
